Appareils de terrain

Les appareils de terrain sont utilisés dans tous les domaines de l'automatisation. Ces appareils sont par exemple des capteurs (pression, température, niveau de remplissage, . . . ), des actionneurs (vannes, convertisseurs, moteurs, . . . ) Ils sont conçus pour mesurer et surveiller le débit, le niveau, la pression, la température et analyser les liquides.

Les capteurs capturent des données et les transfèrent via des bus de terrain à un dispositif de terrain connecté, qui à son tour transmet des données de contrôle via des actionneurs aux éléments de contrôle finaux.

Les données de mesure sont saisies à intervalles fixes et transmises pour le contrôle du processus. Les appareils sont donc mis en réseau avec un système de contrôle et un système hôte, généralement par le biais de bus de terrain ou d'Ethernet. Une fois les données évaluées, elles sont utilisées dans le système de contrôle à des fins de régulation, de commande ou de visualisation (par exemple sur les panneaux du système) ou pour afficher les données d'analyse et d'alarme.
